It’s a pattern your nervous system learned under pressure—a loop of tension, overthinking, and “please don’t fail this time” that turns sex from something you enjoy into an exam you HAVE to pass.

Most of what you’ve tried wasn’t built for this. Apps are too generic, pills don’t touch the anxiety, and traditional talk therapy usually circles the story without changing the pattern in your body.

How this works

We start with a clear outcome. Usually something like:

A peaceful relationship with sex and reliable performance. Not 100% perfection, just solid normal performance.

From there, the work is focused and practical:

  1. We map the pattern your mind and body run before and during sex.
  2. We work with the performance‑anxiety (or other) system driving the problem until you're seeing some nice changes.
  3. We continue working together over time to see the change stabilize. When it's the solid 'new normal,' we're finished.

Most guys start to shift both the physical tension and how they think about sex within the first couple of sessions.

The timeline is usually weeks and months, not years, and we go at a pace that keeps you engaged and changing.

Most solutions fail because they're either too generic or they don't go "deep" enough to help guys really change.

Who I am, and why I do this

I’m Brian Mahoney. I specialize in helping guys solve psychological ED.

Before I started this work, I spent the ’90s as a partner in a Boston tech and research startup we grew to a successful acquisition. What I brought from that world into this work is simple: if someone is going to trust you with their time and money, you have to deliver.

I’ve been running a coaching and hypnotherapy practice since 2004. Over time, psychological ED became the focus of more and more of my work because of what I see when it resolves:

The joy.

The ‘I didn’t think I could ever feel this calm and normal again’ stories.

So instead of an open‑ended ‘let’s just talk about it’ model, I use hypnotherapy, metacognitive approaches, coaching, REBT, NLP, and other practical tools—with one aim: helping you get to a place where your erections are dependable and you feel good about sex again.
